Definitions
Client: any professional, natural person with legal capacity within the meaning of Articles 1123 et seq. of the French Civil Code, or legal entity visiting the Site and subject to these terms and conditions.
Services: the services and information made available to Clients through trinational-healthtechdays.com.
Content: all elements constituting the information available on the Site, including, but not limited to, texts, images, graphics and videos.
Client Information: hereinafter referred to as “Information”, meaning all personal data that may be held by trinational-healthtechdays.com for account management, user and client relationship management, and statistical or analytical purposes.
User: any internet user accessing and using the Site.

2. General terms of use of the Site and its services

5. Intellectual property
Unless otherwise stated, Association SEMIA and/or the relevant rights holders own or hold the necessary rights to the intellectual property available on the Site, including texts, photographs, images, graphics, logos, videos, icons, audio materials and other content.
Any reproduction, representation, modification, publication, distribution or adaptation of all or part of the Site or its content, by any means or process, is prohibited without prior written authorisation from the relevant rights holder.

6. Limitation of liability
Trinational HealthTech Days acts as the publisher of the Site and endeavours to ensure the quality and accuracy of the Content it publishes.
The Site cannot be held responsible for direct or indirect damage to a user’s equipment resulting from access to or use of the Site, including damage arising from incompatible or outdated equipment, bugs, technical failures or incompatibilities.
The Site cannot be held liable for indirect losses resulting from use of the Site, including loss of opportunity or commercial loss, except where such limitation is prohibited by applicable law.
Where interactive areas, contact forms or other means of submitting content are made available, the Site reserves the right to remove, without prior notice, any content that violates applicable French law or the rights of third parties.

As data controller, Association SEMIA undertakes to comply with applicable legal requirements concerning Personal Data. In particular, it determines the purposes for which Personal Data is processed, provides relevant information to data subjects and maintains appropriate records of processing activities.
When processing Personal Data, reasonable measures are taken to ensure that the data is accurate, relevant and appropriate for the purposes for which it is processed.
7.2 Purposes of data processing
Depending on the services used, the Site may process Personal Data for the following purposes:

The request should contain sufficient information to identify the applicant and the Personal Data concerned. Where there are reasonable doubts concerning the identity of the person making the request, additional information may be requested in order to verify their identity.
Requests for deletion or modification of Personal Data remain subject to applicable legal obligations, including obligations relating to the retention or archiving of documents.
Users also have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority, in particular the French Data Protection Authority (CNIL).
7.4 Disclosure and transfer of Personal Data
Personal Data is not disclosed to unauthorised third parties.
